Value
The overall capital expenditure of this scheme is in the region of £5 million pounds.

SW Consultancy Input
A key element of this project to date has been liaison with stakeholders, primarily with Transportni. We have liaised closely with Gemma Jobling of Jobling Planning & Environmental on this project.

As part of our review video survey data was gathered at the A6/Altagarron Rd and the Altagarron Rd/ Ballyhanedin junctions to ascertain existing conditions.

This visitor attraction will generate tourist and religious trips who will visit the site mainly by bus. These trips will be accommodated both from the A6, the main approach route, and with the site curtilage. Using both primary data and secondary data gathered from the Planning Statement an assessment of likely trips has been identified and discussed through the Transport Assessment Form.

Remedial measures have been identified to improve the road infrastructure and to offset adverse impact. This project is ongoing and will require further input from SW Consultancy (NI) Ltd.
